The missing side view, line by line
Last year's Q7, from scratch: read the object cut by cut, work out which view goes in the empty box, then build it with two rules (heights across from the front view, depths through a 45° mitre line from the top view), visible edges solid and hidden edges dashed. On paper, without looking: copy the front and top views, add the mitre line, and draw the left view. Check every line lines up with the other two views. One thing to remember from the layout scene: this sheet is in third angle (top view above). In first angle the top view goes below the front view and the left view goes on the right; the method is the same.
