The missing lines, one feature at a time
Last year's Q8, from scratch: read the bracket feature by feature, place the three views (this paper uses the third-angle layout), then ask of every feature "where does it show in each view, and is it visible or hidden?". That question finds all eight missing lines. Press play, keep the sound on, and answer the two questions it stops to ask.
About four minutes, watch once (⏮ ⏭ replay a scene). It stops twice to ask for your next move. Commit to an answer before it continues. Captions are on; the full transcript is below the player.
On paper: copy the three given views from the past-paper page and add the missing lines yourself, one feature at a time, without looking. Then try the missing-lines problems on the practice page. The rule to keep: a hole is a circle in the view that looks down its axis, and two dashed lines (with a centre line) in the other views.
